Torver Freeloader - doing away with guess work.
Torver ‘Freeloader Loading Chutes’ are designed to eliminate the emission of dust to atmosphere during the transfer of dry materials from storage to road transport such as tankers or open back lorries. The chutes can be operated manually by geared winch or electrically, they can be lowered any reasonable distance from fully retracted to fully extended and can operate at an intermediate height. The Raise and ‘lower’ push button control module can be remotely located in any convenient position accessible from the ground or overhead platform. The tanker unit is fitted with a self centring cone to suit a range of tanker circular manholes so that accurate alignment of the vehicle is not essential. The unit for open back lorry loading is filled with a fingered peripheral skirt.
The lowering mechanism automatically stops when the chute is seated in the tanker regardless of its height. The chute itself consists of a steel reinforced convoluted outer sleeve and a louvered steel inner sleeve.
Material flows from the hopper into the tanker or open truck via the inner sleeve and air is extracted through an annular ring inside the unit. The air passes upwards between two sleeves to a manifold on top of the chute from which it is ducted to a purpose designed bag filter and central extraction system.
Quick and easy to install, the only service required is a 415V/3/50Hz electrical supply.
